Hi, I'm Seb Duke!
I'm a fine art photographer based out of Toronto. Blending different liquids together, I create vibrant and colorful bubbly microcosms.
By combining raw materials and proprietary compounds with an organic base, I breathe bubbly life into mini universes.
Then, I capture the minuscule details using a camera with a macro lens, and turn these pieces into vivid art prints, available here, which you can use to add a touch of *pop!* to your walls.
How it Started
Bubble Photography was a fluke in my life. One day, as I was shooting a music video for one of my past bands, I decided to mix different liquids together to study their interactions. Fascinated by how they flowed and billowed, I kept on experimenting more and more, until I became obsessed. Very quickly, The Big in the Small was born... And the rest is history!
I was was born in 1983 in Moncton, New Brunswick, grew up in Sherbrooke, Quebec and now live in Toronto, Ontario. I hold a B.A. in English Literature, and prior to my involvement in The Big in the Small, I spent most of my adult life working in the marketing industry.
